After enjoying the city panorama, the group will head to the Old City (Baku Fortress), also known as Icheri Sheher, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The walking tour begins at the walls of the fortress. Strolling through the ancient streets with the guide, tourists will visit the Shirvanshahs’ Palace, explore the ancient caravanserais, see old mosques and medieval baths, and climb to the top of the Maiden Tower.

Visiting the Maiden Tower, tourists will feel the atmosphere of the rich, legendary East and sense the mystical secrets surrounding the structure. From the top of the Maiden Tower, tourists will enjoy a breathtaking view of the "City of Winds" that will stay in their memory for a long time.

Not far from the Maiden Tower is another sacred site – the place where Apostle Bartholomew was martyred.

In the afternoon, tourists will head to the Heydar Aliyev Center, a cultural center designed by the world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid. The building's design incorporates few straight lines, and its shape symbolizes a wave-like upward motion and a smooth merging with the earth. This structure represents not only postmodern architectural style but also continuity and infinity. The lines on the building symbolize the connection between the past and the future.
